La Paz Backpacker will be close at the end of September 2009. The economical situation in the city and the absence of tourist make us have to stop offering the services we provide. Thank you to all the people that stay with us and for all those great moments we spent in the hostel.

Welcome to La Paz Baja California Sur.  La Paz is the capital city of Baja California Sur. The geographical location of the city makes it the perfect place to explore contrasted natural wonders in the desert or by the sea side. The climate of La Paz is typically dry, warm and hot, with refreshing ocean breeze in the afternoons.

Located a few blocks from "El Malecon" the main tourist street, the La Paz Backpacker  offers dormitory rooms with air conditioning and a camping area for those who seek value for money budget accommodation in La Paz!

The hostel is big and rooms have plenty of space, lockers and safe box is available, internet and a full equipped kitchen at your disposition.

Enjoy the sun in one of our terraces, play soccer or other games in the back yard, grill at night at our fire place, get all the information you need to get to know the city and it's attractions, make new friends to party with at night or to spent the day at the beach, rent a bike and drive around the city, practice kayaking, scuba diving, mountain biking,  take a tour and explore the best places in La Paz.

Dormitory style rooms with either 6 or 8 beds. Clean linen and blankets are provided. All the rooms are clean and quiet, bathroom facilities are shared.

The best way to arrive to the hostel is to take one of the PUBLIC TRANSPORT buses, that for only 8 pesos can leave you in front of the hostel in few minutes (in front of Mitsubishi). If you want to walk, follow Avenida 5 de Mayo, pass supermarket LEY, the baseball ground and you will find us in front of Mitsubishi Agency. Otherwise take a TAXI for only 50 pesos.
